After over 12 years as a member of the Chicago board of trade, Richard moved to Atlanta to open a restaurant with his chef brother, called Dick and Harry’s. The restaurant was a great success winning Wine Spectator’s annual award for their wine list 12 years in a row! There were many feature articles in both Southern Living and Food & Wine magazines highlighting Richard’s expertise in food and wine pairings. He has hosted countless wine dinners over the years, is a seasoned bartender and has a keen nose and palate able to select the right wines for all tastes at any price level.  With over 20 years of wine and spirits experience, with the last few years as our Store Manager, he is your go to guy. Orson Hall, Wine Counseler

Orson Hall, Founder and Owner of Wine Parties by Design, is originally from California and graduated from UC Davis, 45 minutes east of Napa Valley with connections to many in the wine industry. His company offers an array of wine events, organizing tours of California and North Georgia’s wine countries in addition to organizing wine events and private parties. In May of this year, he led nine people on a 6 ½-day tour of the Santa Barbara Wine Country. His company provides events such as wine, chocolate and cheese pairing parties and a Wine Counseling session that discusses how to get the most flavor from the bottle you just opened plus tips and wine stories. He custom designs your event based on your requirements. He can assist you in selecting delicious wines for your event.
